When most people say “botox” they are usually referring to the botulinum toxin that weakens the muscles to prevent and reduce wrinkles and lines around the eyes, forehead and mouth. Results are temporary, lasting 3-4 months. We offer three brands of the botulinum toxin, that most people just refer to as “botox”. Botox and Xeomin (pronounced zee-uh-min) and Dysport are equally effective for most people, although some have a brand preference and cost does also differ.

How does Botox work?
With age, the skin progressively loses volume and muscles contract closer to the superficial layer. The more muscles operate towards the surface, the more defined wrinkles become. Botox utilizes highly purified botulinum toxin to carefully reduce facial muscle activity within a few days of treatment. How much downtime will I need from Botox?
You will not need to set aside downtime following your appointment, however no standing on your head, laying down or intense workout for four hours after your appointment with Dr. Miller. It takes up to two weeks for your Botox to fully take effect and results last 3-4 months for most patients.
If you are new to Botox, no need to fear. Dr. Miller is conservative and always starts with less. You can always add more later, but she helps her clients achieve natural-looking, graceful aging.
What about Dermal Fillers?

Fillers range from $675 to $900 per syringe. Consultations with Doctor Miller are available if you would like to sit down with her to share your goals as well as hear the doctors recommendations and professional opinion. Consultations are $75.
